These affiliate memberships do not mean you are a member of the national organization, but will allow you to affiliate with our chapter, attend our meetings, and take advantage of whatever programs we put on in anticipation of full membership later on.
Our chapter also offers “affiliate memberships” to students who wish to get involved in the activities of the organization but who do not yet meet the criteria needed for full membership. Membership in Pi Sigma Alpha is based on the following criteria: Undergraduates must meet the following criteria: You must have Junior or Senior class status and have completed at least one-half the credits required for the baccalaureate degree you must have completed at least ten (10) semester-credits of work in political science including at least one upper-division course, with an average.
You do not need to be a political science major to join the honor society.
